Why do surgeons and dentists wear masks?
dentists may wear mask for dental operations and surgeons may wear masks for surgical operation and I want to know why they wear masks

To hide our identities !brbrNo seriously, with dental staff its to prevent inhalation of airborne infectious particles thrown up when we drill fillingsscale teeth. Mouths contain and awful lot of bacteria and unfortunately in some people other bloodborne nasties like Hepatitis B and HIV. also prevents us passing things like colds to our patients so works both ways..brbrI expect its the same with theatre staff.
