Just let it be?
Do we have to know how something came about or should we just not question it? My friend was turned down for a job and two weeks later, they called and told him he had the job afterall. He is going crazy trying to figure out how this came about. Was he second choice? Was he rereviewed? Does he want to work there after all when they seem flaky? I say just go for it and not worry about why. He disagrees and wants to grill the person on why.
